Topic 1: My photographer of the week:  Is Bob Martin a sports photographer who has photographed many huge sporting events the one he is known for is the Olympics both summer and winter.  He has many cover photos for the well known Sports Illustrated.  Taking all these great photos has allowed him to climb up in winning 57 international awards. What stands out to me about Bob's photos is the great angles he gets and how he is able to really capture the moment or the perfect movement of each of the athletes. Bob Martin's "Claim to Fame." because he has shot the Summer and Winter Olympics over and over again. My two suggestions that I think are the most doable are, "Watch the calendar" to get the most recent events so I can prepare myself ahead of time and so everything is ready for that date.  Also "Just taking time to stop."  if I just time to stop and observe the area I will be able to fine that great photo by also taking different approaches

Spring time Training for LBCC Women's Basketball

Swish! is the sound you hear when the ball hits the net, and nobody else is in there except you.   That is what I heard around 3 o'clock when I looked in there I saw one of the women from Linn-Benton's basketball team they were shooting using the shooting machine which is a high tech machine that lets you spot up and then it spits out a basketball every few seconds.   When 4 o'clock rolled around I started seeing other players show up previous players from the team and players trying out for the team.  Coach Harold came in and said 'Today we are going to do some 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 to get everyone in the flow again."  That is exactly what they did it felt like a regular basketball class except with the coach teaching the class and you actually get something out of it. After they divided up the players into teams they just played until time ran out and then you switched courts.  During the first game I went over to Coach and asked her about the new player they ar

About ME:  I love sports playing and watching them.   My favorite is basketball, but football is right there with it.  I am 21 years old, when I was born I was born with Erb's Palsy which has restricted me from playing the sports I love the most.  However that has not made me different for what I want to do which is become a sports broadcaster for my career so my major is going to be in journalism and communications.  I am taking this class to get me one step closer to my career, through retaking this class it will help me understand more about journalism. Goals:  My first goal is to be the best I can even if that means getting a photo into the paper and working with the camera constantly trying to understand how everything works with photoshop more.  My second Goal is to get an A in this class to continue with this path that I am paving.  Finally I am trying to show to brother and sister that I have changed, because I used to be lazy in high school and now my brother is doing th
